A group of American tourists were staring at a painting that had them completely confused. It depicted 3 black men totally naked. Two men had black penises and the third had a pink penis.

The curator realised they were having trouble interpreting the painting so spent a very long time explaining how it depicted the sexual emasculation of African Americans in a predominantly white patriarchal society.

In fact some serious critics believe that the pink penis also reflects the cultural and sociological oppression experienced by gay men in contemporary society.


After the curator left a Welshman approached the tourists saying that he had painted the picture and in fact there were no African Americans depicted at all. They're just three Welsh coal miners and the bloke in the middle went home for lunch.
