Thought I was doing ok until I got lumped with a UTI, mouth problem and an infection in my foot.

Dr said I was run down but I feel fine (ok I feel rough this morning) I have my get up and go and I'm using it well.

Feeling happy but also deflated too.

Hope you are having a good weekend...just getting ready to go into town for a mooch need to waken OH first.

Sorry you have a blip Queenie, you have been doing so well. Hope things get better soon, enjoy your mooch.
why does he think you're run down? Or alternatively, why do you think you're not? Why the different perceptons, do you think?

Think so Marval. Enjoyed my mooch though. Booked in to have my hair done next week and got a few treats.

I've been really stressed jno it has showed though but I've pushed through as best I could. Had a lot to deal with as well but I've done my best to deal with things.

I guess you could argue while I've been feeling fine in the background I've been run down and I've pushed myself a little too hard to get through all I've needed to and this is the result but it happens and I'm dealing with it as best I can :)
I think that's how people get run down, qom. If it were me I'd take a couple of days off and hire maids to do my work for me, including bringing me the occasional G&T, though I'd just need to win the lotto first.

You could well be right there jno!

I went shopping today and I think that was a bit much. Tomorrow I plan to do nothing quiet day with OH and then maybe some stitching when he goes home :)
it's easier said than done I know, but do try to take things easy and slowly

Please do take care xxxx

I will do my best Alba.

I've a full week of work next week but I will try and chill out after 5 each day xx
Ups and downs, and managing those is the key, queenie, some penalties and some treats, even a mooch, a smooch and even a moose from time to time.

Thanks DT.

I've been trying to get back into things I used to enjoy. I've got back into Craft, still doing my colouring and I read where I can.

But thank you :)
good on you as to the leisure time, creativity is important....right side of the brain and all that.....
I have got no basis for this except my own experience but I have found that when things are stressful, my health doesn’t let me down but as soon as the pressure comes off then I get the bugs, headaches, minor things take longer to heal and so on.

It's crazy how we work in similar ways woofgang. I still have 9 days to get through but I'm aiming to stay cool calm and collected and delegate where possible.

I've felt a connection doing my crafts with mum as she was always going about doing an hour or so.

yes, CEOs of megacorporations may well feel stressed 24/7, they're paid for it. You don't have to. Delegate. Prioritise. Do crafts, or anything to take your mind off it (sudokus do it for me, but quilting is probably just as good.)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
