LOl.....LOL Jordy, jordy....you have been on AB long enough to know that when the sharks smell blood, then there ensues a frenzy of feeding. Your blood is well known to them and will always be "marked." Plus you are male, plus you are the wrong generation, plus you speak you mind..........you haven't got a lot going for you Jordy. I prefer Kangaroo but I'm not averse to a bit of Ostrich now and again.
The ostrich you eat tends to be farmed.
What sauce would you suggest to go with it, no mercy? :-)
Well a blueberry and port sauce makes rather a tasty accompaniment, I must say...
Aldi do quite nice ostrich burgers from time to time.

A shower of Barbarians is what you are why don't you go to Korea and eat some puppies,or maybe you fancy trying Panda
Big turkeys, that's what they are. Celeriac mash and red wine sauce would go well.
Yep, ostrich is farmed for the table - even in the UK.
They're tasty too....
You a vegan, jordy? Eat no meat, drink no milk, where no leather?
As has been said the ostrich on sale in supermarkets and butchers is farmed.

There are at least two ostrich farms within seven miles of my home. Quite a surprise when you cycle past the first time!
Oops, I read " ostrich is farmed on the table "!!
Not like you to post like an hysterical little girl Jordy!
Well-fed barbarians, jordy, by the sound of it :-)
Did you miss your meds today, Jordy?
So what do you eat, Jordy?
And, more seriously, that's where Jordy is going wrong - there's wild ostrich and then the farmed version, just like (rein)deer or salmon - or even ducks....
I had an ostrich burger in South Africa once - it was the best burger I have ever tasted. It was gorgeous
//Big turkeys//

No, that's "big, fast turkeys"........
Properly regulated, not snatched from the wilds.
