So I put raw potatoes, beans and sausages. What a disappointment LOL -potatoes were still raw, beans ice cold and you could have shot somebody dead with the sausages.
Now I have been through 4 or 5 more microwaves since then and would not be without one. Have a great one at the mo.

A Volvo car - absolute shocker - V40 1999 model.
I was sold a complete pup - the car as delivered bore no relationship at all to the one I test drove - different seats (horribly uncomfortable), sluggish engine and it rattled like a dustbin full of nuts and bolts.
A long fight with the garage got me out of the deal at minimal cost - but it was a chastening experience - I'll now never sign acceptance forms for any car without actually driving the one they're selling me - even if it is brand new.

Blonde highlights that turned out like grey straw, a brand new Peugeot estate where the sunroof leaked from day one, A Bosch dishwasher that kept thinking it was overflowing and triggering the water switch off, a Whirlpool condensing tumbledryer that would tell me that clothes were wonderfully dry and ready to fold when in fact they were still wet.....but all that is over the course of 40 years so not too bad.
Visited Newcastle racecourse some years back and had just missed the shuttle bus from the railway station to the track. Instead of waiting half hour or so for the next shuttle, we jumped in a cab - only 5 miles as the crow flies from station to track. Trouble is, since my last visit, much of the original journey had disappeared thanks to a one way system. Cost us £13.50!!! To top it all, the price of a pint was much more than i've ever paid, we didn't back a winner between us and it rained all afternoon. Won't be going back there anytime soon.
