Sign in a London department store: Bargain basement upstairs.

Seen during a conference: For anyone who has children and doesn't know it, there is a day care on the first floor.

This is true, I once saw a sign at a gas-station advertising "RECONDITIONED TIRES, HUGE BLOW-OUT SALE."
Saw a sign today in my local B&Q on the wild bird supplies shelving. It read ' Seeds will be charged separately at the checkout', I hope buyers have plenty of spare time.
