Mary and Joan are chatting over a coffee. Mary said: "I'm going to get married. John proposed to me yesterday, and I said 'yes'" Joan looked surprised, and she said, "But you've had loads of proposals, and you always said that you'd never get married!" Mary replied, "That's right, but all the others said how happy I would make them if I consented. But John said how happy he would make me!"
