So it was just posturing by Starmer and Balls-Cooper in an attemot to deflect.
More lies, what a surprise.

Indeed we did. And I suggested that his parents were at best negligent and possibly even complicit in his actions.
He was under 18. He could not have had a credit card and, with seemingly no visible means of support, it was unlikely he had a bank account with a debit card. So it is unlikely he could buy things online witthout somebody giving him credit/debit card details to use. The only way is by using a gift card bought with cash (in which case where did he get the cash?). It’s the first I’ve heard about the knife delivery but Amazon drivers are instructed to do an age check when delivering goods that are age restriced.
As well as that, he had the ricin ingredients delivered to his next door neighbour. She didn’t know what they were but asked his father to stop him having goods delivered to her address.
In his house were found at least two knives, a crossbow and a dozen arrows, a machete, and the ricin. Some of these items were found in his bedroom and others in what passed for a lounge. He owned two tablet devices and on these were found Images and documents relating to violence, war and genocide.
Yes lots of assumptions, I know, some of which may be unfounded. But ask yourself this: how many responsible parents would have a seventeen year old living with them whilst amassing an arsenal of lethal weapons and a quantity of highly toxic material – enough to kill many thousands of people – without their knowledge?
His parents may not have known what he was doing or planning. But it seems they didn’t keep much of an eye on what was going on in their house, especially in view of his behaviour when younger. I believe that at the very least they were negligent to the point of criminality.
//He was known to health service mental services. Perhaps his parents brought him to their attention//
I wonder if they also brought to the attention of the police that he was having knives and ricin materials delivered and was storing weapons in their lounge? I think not. But why not? Maybe they approved?
