I have noticed today while washing, there appears to be somthing under my foreskin on the under side near the head, it looks like a raised vein whitish in colour. Whilst cleaning tiny pin-prick amounts of blood came out. What could this be should i see my GP? I have only noticed this today.

I think you're referring to the 'frenulum' of the penis. It is possible for it to tear during $ex (or if you're over-zealous at DIY *ahem*). It doesn't necessarily cause a great deal of pain (especially if accompanied by significant sexual pleasure) but can cause an alarming amount of blood loss. Generally it's not a medical emergency and the frenulum will heal by itself once the initial bleeding has stopped.

Thanks. I will get it check out by my gp asap to be sure and put my mind at rest.
Sometimes when a guy tears his frenulum the injury and bleeding can re-occur. The only solution is gentler $ex (or less zealous DIY *wink wink*) or circumcision. ;o)

Whilst in the Army, I was told the general health of soldiers can be ascertained from looking at their tongue and their penis. Any oddities and you were referred straight to the doc.

99 percent of the time it was nothing to worry about but as it is your "old man" I shouldn't take any chances.

From a blokey point of view have you had unprotected sex lately?

Good luck and without patronising you, leave it alone and don't poke it in anybody until your GP has examined it.
