I am a complete 100% committment phobic and wondered what all the gents think of this. The men i know who i date, casually, understand that they don't need to make excuses, ring me twice a day or see me 3 times a week and visa versa.

Reason for the Question today is that someone told me today that i am every man's dream dating woman and i shall be used accordingly. I kinda think i am getting something out of it too but this mate (!) said 'but its their benefit..no strings'.

(i am not promiscious - i just dont wanna be a girlfriend)

Just wanted random opinions if i am giving the wrong message

I think that you're only being used if the bloke isn't interested in anything more than sex but the lady in question is hoping for something more. If you both know where you stand and neither of you want anything else, it's a mutually beneficial situation!

Yes i agree Pa_ul. I am honest and it is more than **** buddies but by no way, in any means a relationship. (as she runs for the hills).

I'm the opposite to pa___ul... I've spent the last 18 years in two long term 'commited' relationships... now I'm single and seeing someone on a mutually agreed 'casual nsa fun only' basis... and lovin it!

So long as both people are happy in whatever situation they may be in there's no problem.

I think you're a slapper.
In any casual relationship, there is always one person that is hurting more than they let on.

skreeech... haha.. oh dear that made me laugh. Yeah well you may be true but heh i bet i am happier than alot of people
I used to think that I was a bit of a committment phobe but now to be honest I think a bit like what pa_ul has said it is just I have not met the person I want to commit to 100%. That person may or may not come along. As long as you are happy with the situation and the other person is too then def not doing the wrong thing. I was with a guy who said he wanted more committment and when i said i could not offer than he said he understood and we carried on as normal for a little while but that certainly does not work. As much as he said it was ok - clearly he wanted more.
Sorry Shannon but your bf might say he's happy but really he doesn't want to be stirring anyone elses porridge if you know what I mean.... I'd rather not be in a relationship if I knew the girls was going with every Tom Dick or Harry, it's disgusting.
