I do think schools should have more powers to disipline youngsters, I dont agree with the current policy of blaming bad behaviour on xy and z, sometimes bad behaviour is just bad behaviour and needs dicipline.

I also think there are too many fastracked teachers coming through schools, most of them seem incompetant and if female they tend to disappear on and off to have children leaving the class with supply teachers who are just rubbish

they need to bring back some fear and respect in schools

from my daughters school...not a lot, the 23 year old teacher spends the entire lesson calmly telling people to be quiet so :(
