One night when I was on a business trip to Bangkok, I decided to go out to a club for a drink. As I walked down the street, a local girl stepped from a doorway and said. "Where you going?".

I said "I am going to the club". She said I come with you for twenty dollar".I declined her offer.

A few yards further on another girl stepped from a doorway and asked the same thing. When I told her I was going to the club, she said "I come with you for ten dollar". Again I declined.

This happened again a few yards further on and again I declined the offer.

Eventually I arrived at the club and the doorman said. "I can't let you in!"

I said "Why not?"

He replied "Sorry, Gentlemen not allowed in without a Thai".
