where does the North start and end?

He says the people from Newcastle talk posh and are like those from Surrey...ffs!!!! pmsl
so where do you thnk the North and South starts,

I'm confused of Lincolnshire. I always thought we were East of England, but would still class myself as a Northerner as opposed to a Southerner.
