Most people will be aware of the following words to describe things, but is there a correct order in which one is the least and one is the most? They are:

Super, Mega, Ultra, Hyper, Fantastic, Fabulous.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

No..however Super, Mega, Ultra and Hyper refer to size, whereas Fantastic and Fabulous refer to quality.
Not always, jom, if somebody was to say "that's mega" then (discounting the fact they should be slapped if they are over 21) it would be an indication of quality.
What about bonza and bewdy. (Aussie terms)

Then there is "fantabulous".

What about "huge" and indeed "humungous"?

"Awesome"

Superlatives and Synonyms
Eddie: While words do "technically" have an original meaning and associated root they are often extended well beyond in common usage and adopt new meaning.

For example: Organ means instrument and even though organ (like in your body), organism and organic (chemistry and gardening) come from the same root they don't actually mean instrument any more.

There are meany words in English that have gone way beyond their original root.

Pretty is another good example. No doubt you have referred to a girlfriend as pretty more than once yet certainly didn't mean to insult her with the original meaning.
