The expression I'm searching for goes along the lines of 'she couldn't wipe your shoes' ??? Or something like that, does anybody know what it is or am I talking rubbish as per? Cheers.

Not fit to lick the **** off your shoes?
Question Author
Maybe that's it.

'He's not fit to lace your boots' - or as someone said of a young footballer, 'He's not fit to lace George Best's drinks'

It comes from the bible. John the Baptist says that one will come "whose shoes I am not fit to unloose" meaning Jesus

here's the quote

Whilst baptizing, John, lest the people might think "that perhaps he might be the Christ" (Luke, iii, 15), did not fail to insist that his was only a forerunner's mission: "I indeed baptize you with water; but there shall come one mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to loose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: whose fan is in his hand and he will purge his floor; and will gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire" (Luke, iii, 16, 17).

Lace his boots! That's the one, and its origins! Bless you all.

He's not fit to lick his boots!

"to come up to" as in "the writing simply doesn't come up to the required superior standard." but with a person it's something like "she doesn't come up to your knees"... Any ideas would be most appreciated, thanks.
