Pre-condom?

Yesterday I overheard two guys talking and couldn't understand this phrase: I have some older stuff pre-condom." what does it mean?

I would guess that it means 'before condoms' and since condoms in one form or other have been used as a contraception for thousands of years, the 'stuff' must have been very old indeed.
