Does anyone know the poem describing how an elephant walks. I thought it was by Spike Milligan but can't find it.
The last two lines go something like :
"... after that come 2 and 4
and after that there ain't no more"

I really would like to be able to recite this poem to my daughter who is about to go on an elephant ride in India.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to disappoint,but the poem is about a tiger;
"tigers travel stealthily,using first legs one and three,
they alternate with two and four,and after that,ther ain't no more!"
You could always adapt it,I'm sure Spike wouldn't mind...

Brilliant, fyh! Many thanks. As you suggest I'll modify, though no way improve on, Spike's masterpiece!
