Meticulous definition: showing great attention to detail; very careful and precise... therefore is the first one repeating itself?

i like the first one. i think they mean different things. look up in an online dictionary to see how they differ and your impression after that. what are you up to? job application? x

not everyone knows exactly what meticulous means, though they know it sounds good; so I'd go for the first one just to make sure people know what I mean.

...saying that, what are you describing, a person? A book? An action? It might make a slight difference

if it's a person you might say "pays" meticulous attention to detail.

But you could easily go with the second one; for purposes of a CV it should tell employers what they want to know.

(the comma because organised isn't the same as meticulous, so two separate thoughts)

depends whether he's writing in the first person or not, CD - I don't know the formats people use in their CVs. If it's "I am highly organised, and pay meticulous attention to detail", that's fine.
