Awful puns in business names

Near where I work is a sandwich shop called 'baguetti juction', a local thai restaurant goes by the name 'the king and thai', and a fish and chip shop near where I used to live was run by an ex policeman and was named ' A salt and battery.' I've always had a fondness for groan inducing names and wondered how many others ABers could list...

The Londoner's Almanac lists 40 funny hairdressers, including Alias Quiff and Combs, Ali Barber, Beyond the Fringe, Curl Up and Dye, Do Yer Nut, Headmasters, Heads We Do, New Barnet, Shear Pleasure and Wavelength.

There is a shop in the Gunwharf Quays shopping centre in Portsmouth which sells various household items.

It's called Kitch 'N' Sync.

A Mexican restaurant in Tucson, AZ is named "Tequila Mockinbird"... (Hope I don't have to explain this)

I live in an area called Clayton and the local tanning salon is called "Clay-Tan".

There's a place in Ireland called the Sofa King, and the slogan is Our prices are Sofa King low. (Just say it out loud!!)

Also, I know of chip shops called The Best Plaice in Town and The Frying Squad

Health shop called Open Sesame

Hair dresser called Fringe Benefits

And don't forget the muslim butcher's shop in 'Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere' - You Can Call Me Halal.
