What is the meaning of 'docket' and 'bust' in the following sentences?

Talbert had a story about a judge in Chicago who was skimming from the lawyers, small sums, five hundred and a thousand bucks a pop, to get cases moved up the docket, and for friendly rulings.He'd done it for years before the FBI got a tip. They busted some of the lawyers and convinced them to play along.

The docket is the court's list of cases to be heard, so the judge is offering to hear a particular case earlier (and give a favourable judgment) if the lawyers bribe him. Busted means arrested.

there is a list of cases to be heard and so moving it up the docket is to hear it sooner...however docket usually means a file in which letters or slips of paper are stored.

busted is usually arrest in connection with drugs
