I had to identify the correct passage out of four but each one contained the followind:

....I wondered in to a daydream.

I think this is wrong and should be:

....I wandered in to a daydream.


Any thoughts?

More likely "I wandered *into* a daydream.
Yes, the 2nd one.
Either- but i would probably go for "wandered into a daydream".
....I wondered as in a daydream.

I think that "I wondered in to a daydream" is a rather clever and amusing use of our delightful language with all its nuances. However the alternative is equally correct .
One doesn't wonder into anything. Probably arty poetic licence building an image in your mind.
I like the first one and agree with canary. It is a clever use of imagery. The second one is the correct one though.
