Some ABers will recognise this quote from Frank Skinner's autobiography. But did he make it up?

I ask because Des Lynam signed off ITV's Euro 2004 coverage with these words and I wondered if he got them from that book.

no, I heard this one 40 years ago. No idea where it came from - obviously it's just a switch on 'A pleasure doing business with you', but I doubt you'll find out who invented it, unless some comedian had the foresight to copyright it.
It was certainly a quote by one of the 'ladies' in the film 'The Best Little ********** in Texas', which appeared in 1982, so it's very unlikely that it originated with Frank Skinner. (In case the fourth word in that film title is not allowed to pass, it opens with the letters 'wh' and continues with 'ore' plus 'house'.)
in the 1977 film "The last remake of Beau Geste" AnnMargret makes this remark after having it off with Peter Ustinov in order to get information about a valuable gem hidden somewhere among the Foreign Legion''s quarters.
