Is this saying correct

I was taught this at school:

"Red and Green should not be seen
Green and Blue just will not do."

I guess that just leaves yellows, oranges and browns to be worn with green then!

i have to agree with all the other answers.. in school i was taught that it is:

"Red and Green should not be seen.

Green and Blue will just not do."

 

but i dont knwo if that is right

My dear old Gran used to say Blue and Green, but then she would wear her favourite scarf, in, yes, you've guessed it, blue and green!
