Probably never. It is probably for the best that 8 year olds are not allowed to see Basic Instinct or Nightmare on Elm Street. Who knows what they would make of it.

Where did you hear that they would be, and what are the arguements in favour of it?  (Apart from freedom of choice for minors/their parents - given that parents can allow their children to watch anything on DVD/VHS if they feel that strongly about it).
