Dear All,

I do not understand those sentences. I looked the words up everywhere but to no avail.Can u proffer any help?

1.Soda can put about anyone out when he sets his head to it.

2.he always had to get his two bits' worth in.

3.he has dark hair that kicks out in front.

4.so I stood there like a bump on a log while they surrounded me(then they attacked me)

5.They throw beer blasts for kicks.

this sounds like its from a film/book called 'the outsiders', there are characters called 'soda' and 'two-bit' in it

Hi Bart. These are my interpretations:

1. Soda can put almost anyone to sleep when he decides that is what he wants to happen.
2. he always had to voice his opinion (even if nobody wanted to hear it).
3. he has dark hair that sticks out in front.
4. so I stood there unaware of what they were going to do while they surrounded me (then they attacked me)
5. They organise parties with alcoholic drinks for fun.
