what does this mean

My father in law used to say that something was 'very salubrious' or 'silubrious' I'm not sure which is the right spelling as i can't seem to find it in the dictionary. what does 'salubrious' mean

Salubrious means (1) health-giving or healthy or (2) pleasant or agreeable (of surroundings etc).

Thanks grunty. I thought is was something, say, suspious of odd. Just goes to show what I know.
Conductive or favorable to health or well-being. "the salubrious mountain air and water"; 2: favorable to health of mind or body; ie.... "not the most salubrious campsite"; " ie.....one of the less salubrious suburbs"
I think from the Latin salbris or Salus (?) meaning healthy.
