When I stay with granny
she gives me jobs to do it ends up with
But watering the garden is what I like the best
let me do that granny and you can do the rest

Anyone heard this please?

When I stay with Granny
She gives me jobs to do;
I weed her little garden,
And feed her pigeons too.

I take the puppy walking,
I sometimes pick the peas;
I help to gather apples
Fallen from the trees.

But watering the garden
Is what I like the best.
PLEASE let me do that, Granny,
And you can do the rest!
What a lovely poem, made me smile.
well done on finding that ,i googled for ages and nothing came up x
mallyh - when I googled ["when i stay with" "she gives me jobs to do"] there were only 2 hits, one of which was this thread! Putting the quotes (") round phrases when searching is important because then the results only include cases where the words occur as given.
