As a phrase, 'soup to nuts' means 'the whole thing', as it were. It is a reference to the courses involved in a luxury meal, at which one would start with soup, proceed on through fish, meat etc and finally end by eating nuts.
Quizmonster is right. I find it a particularly annoying phrase that seems to have fallen out of favour in the last few years, but was popular in business consulting circles in the late 90s - "we can offer you a service that goes from soup to nuts". ugh!
