Think it refers to certain types of men who hang around places frequented by women! Said men are usually Tom Jones look alikes complete with medallion and moustache and spout little gems like *Hello darlin' where have you been all of my life* If the lady in question is under 25 then the answer is probably that for the first half of his life she was'nt even born!!
