The most useless words

Are bi-weekly and bi-monthly the most useless words in English? In the same context they can mean completely different things:

In other words, if you use them in a sentence, you need to explain what they mean.

fortnightly is better, expect for poor Americans, who don't know what it means. At least you can distinguish between bi-annual (twice a year) and biennial (every two years).
