For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It sounds to me like the English and Australians say 'colour' pronounced with a 'u' and it means what both we and Americans understand it to mean, however, Americans use a different word 'color', with a different pronunciation, which happens to mean the same thing as the word we use to convey what we understand it to mean. Know wha' I mean?
