my mother says the phrase "like hellers like" does anyone know where this comes from?

I've heard of a Yorkshire saying "By hell as like" i.e. "Like hell it is!"

I'm an Aussie, but my Nana was a Yorkshire lass and she often used to say " will 'e 'eck as like'. Which meant he won't. And he usually didn't!
