so what do you call a person who steals from his job, try to avoid doing his duties as much as it's possible and just pretend he's doing his job when he sees his employers are around? (or what's the act of stealing from your job?)
and what sucks means when we say "My life/work sucks""?

ummm i want to say embezzlement but i have a feeling that refers to just money sums that are stolen, not pens/paper etc
for the duties think i would call them a slacker/suck up

What you call them is not as important as what you call their supervisors/managers.

I would call this type of useless, selfish, lazy arse a skiving freeloader, with respect to the colleagues who end up having to do work on his/her behalf in order to be able to get the teamwork done. I know, we used to have 2 of these 'working' with us, when they weren't playing girl-on-girl wrestling.

My life sucks - an Americanism rather similar in meaning like the other saying 'life's a bitch'.
