I heard this response to a question in a show, where a person was asked if it was safe to talk in his car (was it electronically bugged)? Don't know if the spelling is correct but I am assuming it's Latin but have had no success finding it. Thanks

It seems to translate as chavum= charisma/gift/present and prate seems less obvious...there are a number of possible meanings but it's not clear. Have a look on this site.

Good luck!
It has a rather Romany look to my eyes......try having a look in online Balkan dictionaries.
