does anybody know the french translation for how about a film? This applying to any french speakers out there or indeed french people. Please don't try the translation sites, they simply do not work!

Hi! Do you mean as in going to the cinema, or renting a movie at home? If it's the first option, then "On se fait un cine?" , which is quite familiar (ie: use it with friends or family). If it's the second option, then maybe " Ca te dit de louer un film?" - again, quite familiar.
