Is there such a phrase as "Seven days from Sunday"? I think my friend may have it confused with "Never in a month of Sundays"

The phrase I've heard occasionally that is closely related to your query is Six (or seven) ways to Sunday... the meaning of which implies six (or seven) ways to accomplish a task or achieve some goal. Although there is a dearth of information on any etymological background for the phrase, it seems to be an Americanism and arose around the beginning of the 20th century... Not a lot of help, I'm sure..
