Apropos 'Cloughy' My late mother in law gave him a clip round the lug for being cheeky. (Some years ago obviously)Best thing she ever did.

I think that basically it means that there's gonna be a hell of a mess to clear up. Can you just imagine what might happen should these elements happen upon each other, especially if the fan is going at full pelt.
