Am I the only person that gets annoyed by this?
Endless cretinous people announcing football/rugby/fill-in-the-blank matches.
The 'Versizzzz' thing used to really aggravate me - can no-one actually say the word versus?
And now they don't even bother to say that, just 'Veee'.

not sure i agree with you...i always think of 'down to you' as meaning, responsible for something you have already done, or, something that is solely your responsibilty, and 'up to you', as something you should do, or something you have a choice about....don't know if i have explained that properly...
