In my language, the word 'blana' stands for animal fur but also for a board of wood too. Is there an English word to have both these meanings?

In English, for example, the word 'bear' may be a noun meaning the name of a large animal or or a verb meaning 'carry'...a 'tear' may be a rip/hole in cloth, for instance, or the water-drop you shed from your eye when feeling sad. There are multitudes of such cases.
