How do you alter clothes

With needle and thread? A sewing machine? What item of clothing - what do you want to do? Is this a wind up??

Stick em in the tumble drier (especially woolen ones) that makes them smaller. Put them on the washing line with a very heavy weight on the end which makes them bigger. Much easier than a sewing machine....

I have a pair of trousers where the legs zip off to make them shorts - amazing!

You could also make a sock into a hat if you have a very small head.

Put gloves on your feet?

Don't feel tied down by the conventional definition of clothes, just leave them as they are, and alter your perception of them...

I currently have my t-shirt on inside out and a poncho tied around my waist!
