whatever happened to the customer is always right? my collegue asked a question and got a highly insulting reply from a member of staff on this site. i work in a public relations job and if any member of my staff did something like this there would be big trouble, i find the response to my collegue's earlier question very offensive. it was a question about blanks and if upsets you as much as you say it does you will need no further explaination
The people who answer the questions on this site are not members of staff but infact other members of the public like yourself, I suspect your colleague asked a question relating to the tuck your blanks into your blanks movie quote which at the moment is likely to receive a curt response as it hase been asked numerous times on the site and nobidy knows the answer but people keep asking it despite the fact that the site has a system designed to prevent people from asking repeat questions. There is a site editor who is responsible for ensuring that the rules of the site and laws in general are adhered to, so if you feel that your colleague has been insulted perhaps you should contact him/her/it [;o)] here: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Info/ContactUs.asp
I assume your colleague is shelly.gavin in which case becks who answered the question is not a member of staff just another site visitor expressing their frustration at the deluge of questions on this subject
If ninafilange thinks we are members of staff, perhaps we should send her a bill for the answers provided here! And her colleague for submitting a question despite a very clear list which would have appeared tellign her the question had been asked eleventeen score and ten times before.
Unfortunatly the customer ISN'T always right ! But I agree a little common curtosey and politeness doesnt ever go astray. Deary me GEF - nothing else to do with your time?
it always comes out in the wash. tuck your into your. was said by a comedian from Ireland called ninafilange. Dublin radio fills Cyberspace also. The answer; Tuck your answers into your washing.
At least Greedyfly acknowledeged my answer which appears to have been removed. If I upset anyone I apologise - a couple of glasses of red wine too many.
