My french teacher is now our examiner so i can't ask for any phrases in class. We are still allowed to do research at home but I can't seem to find anything helpful on 'advertising my hometown'. Does anyone know some good phrases I can use?

il y a- there is or there are
you could say things like:
il y a un parc et deux pubs.
c'est super, beaux et touristique
it is super, beautiful and touristic
vener (hometown)
or visit� (hometown)
because- parce que/car etc.

cant really think of anything else and i dont know how helpful that was...

tr`es branche' - (just transferred to XP and can't find the French keyboard yet! so you'll have to imagine the accents) means "switched on", exciting - may not apply to your home town, but hey, this is advertising!

dundurn, if you swap to the U.S. keyboard it makes it easier than using the ALT+ codes
