Can anyone translate "Tabernouche" or "Tabernac"
It is in a book my wife is reading and my French is not good enough.

t is not used at all in France, but Canadians deem it to be an offensive swearword.apparently

It seems the French speaking Qu�b�cois in Canada go in for swear words based on the things connected to the church and tabernac or tabernouche are sweary words! Tabernac is where the bread and wine for the Eucharist is kept.
