Easy Q, but I just can't resolve it:

What is the difference between 'Mi' and 'Me' in Spanish?

I.e. why is it 'Me llamo...' and not 'Mi llamo'?

me llamo = I call

mi llamo = my call

Mi is the possessive pronoun - equivalent to the English 'my'.

Me is the first person object pronoun, exactly the same as 'me' in English.

To be strictly accurate, Terambulan, me llamo translates as "I call myself", as you are employing it as a reflexive verb.
