i am new to computers can someone explain in easy steps how to load/download info on to a cd/rw disc.

First you need to format the disc.  You should get a prompt to do this when you insert it, probably from Nero or something similar.

Once format is complete, you pick the file you want, say a picture for arguments sake.

Right click on that file and the drop down menu will ask:

Send to:

You then choose the CD/RW option and that's it, it will 'burn' it onto the disc(well that's how I do it on Windows ME, shouldn't be too dissimilar to other operating systems).

latest version of Nero will automatically fornat an unformatted disc for you
