Sign (BSL) language for the word 'naughty'?
9 Answers
Hi,
Just wondered if anyone could help? I'm trying to find the BSL sign for the word naughty. It's for a friends hen night as she's hard of hearning and I want it to be a surprise so I can't ask her!
I've tried searching on google, msn and yahoo and none of the dictionaries i've found have had this word.
Fingers crossed.

Probably not what you wanted but it might be fun if you turn it into a whole little choreography thing...?

My wife has just looked it up for you.
Hold your left hand in front of your body, palm down and fingers pointing to your right hand side.
Right hand, fingers together and pointing to your left hand side (fingers may be curved a bit). Tap the back of your left hand twice with the fingers of your right hand.
Think of giving someone a light smack on the back of their hand for being naughty and you'll have the idea. Oh yes, that sign works for naughty as in "naughty child" and in the sense of being a wee bit rude :-)
