I'm looking for a word that means or connotes bringing together disparate things to make a harmonious whole. I'm gathering a group of artsy cratsy folks to do collage and mosaic, both of which attempt to make a beautful new thing out of bits of other unrelated things. So far I've got Synthesis, Concretion, Amalgamation or Conglomeration, but I want something less hodge-podge-y and maybe a little obscure. Isn't there some word from philosophy or rhetoric that would be appropriate? Thanks, you clever AB-ers!

Try "synaesthesia".

ConPhoenixize  Con=with, together Phoenix (rising from the flames)  dont look it up I just cobbled it together.

PhoenixFusion Event

REFUSION Event  Re=again Fusion =blast together

Neosembalize  Neo=new Sembalize =taken from "assemble"

The problem with synaesthesia is that it means something completely different.

In Math, this would be a unification

(as in Kleins unification of geometry)

Any of the words you might use for foods that complement each other, e.g. pork and apple.  If I didn't have flu I could probably suggest a word or two.
