sorry, i'm back - any idea what Lemonades is slang for? (he was talking about brining illegal people into the country i think) thanks

Think about it, amac......shows like that were very racist in the 70's, and god only knows how they got away with it.....think of a tool that you use to dig.......... and there you have it.
............But it's not on, is it?.
Why not just call a spade a spade?

ive got a good collection now of Sweeney Slang !
Things slip through though.

I've been watching repeats of on the buses, and all the black guys are called chalkie (which we did in those days) and you sort of cringe now. One episode though used an old saying that wouldn't be used now, when a guy was asked to "play the white man" . No one noticed it before broadcast.
