Where does the word Mocha originate from and why is the chocolate drink by this name called such?

It was originally a type of coffee shipped from the port of Mocha on the Red Sea; but was later, and still is, used for a drink made from a mixture of coffee and chocolate. If the word is being used for a drink made only from chocolate, this would seem to be wrong.
