I've just been struck by an enormous bolt of lightning. I am covered in boils and my house is full of frogs. I strongly recommend that when referring to God, always use the upper case H on all personal pronouns
It's slightly obscure, but the accidents that happened to the person are acts of God, plagues etc. So God is obviously angry.
When referring to God, the correct form of the personal pronoun is to capitalise it. So, you don't speak about 'him', but 'Him'. It's God, He and Him, all capitalised. I guess that the quote refers to the anger of God if you address him incorrectly.
That said, I still don't think it's amusing (if it's meant to be!)
