I thought I was doing pretty well with ****-nayyys and their funny way of talking, then I saw this TV prog. What the hell? Like they have a different word for EVERYTHING! Why not just speak english?
Any comprehensive list of this slang going?
Like, 60, 100, bargain, agency fee: these all had slang terms. And it wasn't rhyming.

Well the thing about rhymming slang is that it get's shortenned so it no longer rhymmes so you get "look at the boat on that" meaning boat race, face! Or even more difficult is the One level removed Rhymming slang eg "shut your Oliver" Oliver North, North an south, Mouth!

There's "April"="April in Paris"=Aris short for "Aristotle"="Bottle"="Bottle and glass"="Ar**" What chance have foreigners got?
